Nanwan Park

4.南湾公园.jpg

[A highly regarded seaside park, considered a "playground" suitable for all ages. ]

Nanwan Park is a popular seaside-themed park, beloved by both local residents and tourists for its expansive water features and unique landscapes. The park spans over 280 hectares of water surface, with a shoreline stretching about 13 kilometers, connected to the open sea. The tidal flow creates gentle to intense waves, giving the park a natural oceanic feel.

The park features man-made islands and hills created from riverbed silt, adding dimension and extending the marine atmosphere onto the land. The wave-like shoreline design connects the land and sea, offering refreshing views from observation platforms that overlook the vast water. An artificial beach along the waterfront provides a place for families to enjoy the sea.

To cater to families, Nanwan Park includes a children's playground with swings, slides, and climbing walls. There are also larger play structures, such as giant see-saws and climbing nets, designed for adults, creating a "playground" for all ages. The park's blue and green color scheme creates a visually striking landscape when viewed from above.

The park is being developed in three phases, with the first phase near the Sea Museum already open to the public, providing a scenic spot for kite-flying, walking, and sightseeing for nearby residents.
