Taifeng Park

Taifeng Park is a large artificial landscape park in Binhai New Area, known for its unique modern garden design. Covering a total area of 216,000 square meters, including 161,120 square meters of green space and 40,256 square meters of artificial lakes, the park is widely recognized as one of the most iconic urban landscapes in Binhai New Area.  

The park features over 100 species of plants, including cedar, pine, and locust trees, while the expansive lawns consist mainly of cool-season fescue and warm-season buffalo grass. This rich vegetation, combined with vast green spaces, creates a comfortable natural environment for visitors to walk, relax, and unwind.  

The park's design features a high northern section and lower southern area, with seven artificial lakes of varying sizes, shapes, and depths. Between the lakes and the hills are three large valleys. The park’s twelve plazas, each with sculptures, fountains, and other decorative features, are spread evenly along the perimeter, forming a cohesive landscape. This design reflects the principles of modern garden architecture, emphasizing "sparse woods, grasslands, gentle slopes, and still water" along with a seasonal plant theme.  

Visitors have praised Taifeng Park for its pleasant environment, well-maintained facilities, and excellent services. Clean restrooms and comfortable rest areas ensure basic needs are met. Additionally, the park includes special paid exhibition gardens, which are free for some groups, enhancing its appeal to tourists.
