Shanghai FTZ pursues high-level reform and opening-up

On July 3, 2013, the State Council approved the country's first free trade zone – the China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone – which was officially unveiled in Pudong on Sept 29, 2013. Over the years, the zone has contributed to new breakthroughs in high-level reform and opening-up in Pudong.
