Wuxi offers favorable policies to talent

Wuxi in East China's Jiangsu province is offering talent included in the Taihu Lake Talent Plan favorable policies involving housing, medical care, children's education, exit and entry, and local tourism.

Talent who purchase their first self-occupied commercial house in Wuxi within five years after they are included in the talent plan will receive a maximum subsidy of 5 million yuan ($763,000).

These talents will also enjoy quality medical services and green channels will be opened to some of them for expert diagnosis and treatments.

In addition, they can apply for a work permit of up to five years and tour all local public parks free of charge.

Their children can also be enrolled in high-quality public schools for preschool and compulsory education.
