Wuxi Capital Group Co Ltd, formerly known as Wuxi Financial Venture Investment Group Co Ltd, is a State-owned venture capital investment institution focusing on seed funding, angel investment, venture funds, stock equity funds, and buyout funds. Its registered capital totals 2.188 billion yuan ($333.6 million).

The company owns Wuxi Jintou Capital Management Co Ltd, Wuxi Guolian Industry Investment Co Ltd, Wuxi Huallywood Private Equity Fund Management Co Ltd, V-Capital Co Ltd and other wholly-owned subsidiaries and holding companies in Wuxi, as well as fund management companies in Shanghai and Shenzhen.

The company has established a fund system involving the entire lifecycle of companies and manages funds worth over 160 billion yuan. Currently, its self-managed funds have invested in nearly 40 billion yuan in more than 450 companies.

In addition, the company manages and operates 1.5 billion yuan in guiding funds for angel investment, which is part of the China Structural Reform Fund Phase Two worth 73.75 billion yuan.

It has also provided support for major projects such as Hua Hong Semiconductor (Wuxi) Limited and Wingtech Technology.
