The "Minning Red Wine Cultural Run 2023" event opened in Yuanlong village in Minning town, Yongning county, Yinchuan, Ningxia, on Sept 24. 

The running route is 6.2 kilometers long, and features the unique characteristics of Minning with special elements like photo-points along Red Wine Street. Activities like red wine tasting and carnival games were also available for participants to experience the town's industrial charm. The track winds through the vineyards, offering scenic views and showcasing runners' speed while providing a close-up experience of the town's natural beauty and development changes.

Organized by the local government and undertaken by Xiamen Jianfa Group, this event was part of the 2nd Yuning County Grape Wine Culture and Art Festival, promoting the integration of "cultural tourism and sports".

According to Xiamen Jianfa Group, they have been actively supporting the transformation and upgrading of industries in Minning town since establishing a pairing assistance relationship in 2018. They aim to promote the region's "red wine culture" as a tourism and cultural brand for the town through this event.

China Daily Fujian bureau's editor-in-chief, Hu Meidong, reporting in Minning town, attended the event and expressed his amazement at the town's vitality. He said he was particularly impressed by the happiness fostered through the collaboration between Fujian and Ningxia.

Over the past 27 years, Fujian and Ningxia have developed a multi-level, comprehensive mechanism for cooperation. They focus on goals like prosperous people and thriving industries, working together in areas such as industry, labor, consumer assistance, and talent exchange. This has created a favorable situation of industrial integration, economic prosperity, mutual assistance, and common development.

In recent years, Yongning county has developed a holistic approach to tourism by deepening its understanding and promoting the integration of tourism and other areas. With abundant natural resources and extensive cooperation between Fujian and Ningxia, the county has prioritized sports and leisure tourism projects and has achieved certain results.
