As one of the top 12 business sectors of Shandong Port Group, the company concentrates on overseas development - based on the reform and development of Shandong Port Group's integration platform, output technology, and capital output - and aims to gradually develop itself into a world-class, industry-leading international public terminal operator and service provider.

Shandong Port Group carries out in-depth cooperation with State-owned enterprises directly under the control of central government, strategic partners and well-known international enterprises overseas.

It has carried out extensive equity cooperation with overseas port groups including Vado Ligure Port in Italy and Kimbo Port in Guinea, and operates projects on a fiduciary basis including Qasim Port in Pakistan and Boffa Port in Guinea.

In addition, each overseas project department has more than 1,600 employees. In 2019, it handled 62 million tons of cargo and 500,000 TEUs (20-foot equivalent units) containers.
