Established in March 2020, it has 10 subsidiaries at the machinery bases at Qingdao, Rizhao and Yantai ports. The subsidiaries specialize in container handling machinery, port portal cranes, port continuous handling machinery, marine engineering, shipbuilding and repairing portal cranes, ship repairs, tank and pipeline installation, steel structure manufacturing and installation, grab belt conveyor manufacturing, port machinery maintenance, and processing and installing new building materials.

In addition, the company specializes in providing overall solutions for whole port logistics chains and intelligent mechanical equipment, and has the production capacity to undertake large, non-standard and batch port equipment. The products produced by the company, such as quayside container cranes, automatic stackers, rubber-tired gantry cranes, rail-mounted gantry cranes, portal cranes, bridge grab ship unloaders, ship loaders, stacker reclaimers, shipyard cranes, jack-up offshore platforms, belt pipe conveyors, full series grabs, roll-on hydraulic bridges, belt idlers and new building materials, are spreading across major domestic ports and are exported to Europe, Australia, the United States and Southeast Asia.

The company has an A-level manufacture license, installation and maintenance qualifications for a series of port machinery products, such as containers, bulk cargo, general cargo and shipyard repairs, and has CCS, ABS, BV, GL and other shipbuilding construction certifications and production qualifications for class III steel ships. With design, development and manufacturing capacity for the whole series of grab and roll-on hydraulic connecting bridge products from 5 to 500 tons, it has manufactured more than 500 port machinery products, such as the world's most advanced super large 80T70M quayside container crane, Qingdao Qianwan automation terminal phase I and phase II, 40-unit automatic stackers, Dongjiakou port's super-large stacker reclaimer and COSCO shipyard's gantry cranes. It has also manufactured and maintained many kinds of ships, including ocean research vessels, dredgers, hovercraft, floating docks, deck barges, floating crane boats and tugboats. It has also manufactured the world's first underwater fishing grab of over 500 tons. The company's domestic market share of the RO-RO ship hydraulic connecting bridge ranks the first in China. In 2011, "QPMP" portal crane was rated as "famous brand product of Shandong Province", and in 2017, gantry crane was rated as "famous brand product of Shandong Province". The company has become the second manufacturer in China to develop the world's largest double-lifting 80T70M quayside container crane.

The company has established a design and research and development (R&D) team, which is mainly composed of masters, and works closely with first-class design institutes and colleges in Beijing, Shanghai and Wuhan to build a collaborative R&D system, completing more than 300 scientific and technological achievements, and obtaining more than 150 patents. Among them, the 50T70M portal crane, the fully automatic container stacker and more than a dozen other achievements have won first prizes in the Qingdao science and technology awards, first prize in the China Institute of Navigation's science and technology progress award.
