Workers stayed busy on Feb 21 sorting, packaging, and shipping in the Jinyi Comprehensive Bonded Zone in Jindong district, Jinhua, Zhejiang province.

Reports indicate that the inbound and outbound storage volume of enterprises in the zone surged by around 10 percent compared to the same period last February. The primary product categories driving this growth include cosmetics, maternity and baby products, and pet supplies, signaling a promising uptrend for cross-border e-commerce in the district.

Cross-border e-commerce is a pivotal trend in international trade development and a cornerstone for propelling high-quality foreign trade within Jindong district. Over the past year, the area has implemented measures that foster high-quality cross-border e-commerce development, through bolstering the cultivation of entities, ensuring logistics support, and innovating services.

Jindong district is planning a cross-border e-commerce industrial park, focusing on the "livestreaming + platform + cross-border e-commerce" development concept. The goal is to create a comprehensive industrial park that integrates various formats like service platforms, shared livestreaming centers, and brand display centers to improve industrial clustering.

Notably, prominent cross-border e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, AliExpress, and Shein have been attracted to the area.

The Cainiao Jingu Industrial Park within the region is a one-stop cross-border e-commerce public service platform leveraging Alibaba's resources. It has successfully nurtured 50 core merchants with annual sales exceeding 100 million yuan ($13.82 million) since its opening in March 2017.
