The flight calibration aircraft Cessna Citation C560 from the Flight Inspection Center of the Civil Aviation Administration of China landed on Feb 26 at the newly-built Lishui Airport – located in Lishui, East China's Zhejiang province.
This marked the successful completion of all the requisite flight calibration tasks.
The flight calibration process, which began on Feb 14 and lasted for 12 days, covered seven key areas – very high frequency or VHF equipment, air traffic control automation systems, automatic dependent surveillance-broadcast systems, VHF omnidirectional range beacons, instrument landing systems, aeronautical lighting, and flight procedure designs.
The inspection center conducted a comprehensive check, calibration, and evaluation of Lishui Airport's communications and navigation equipment, aeronautical lighting facilities and flight procedures.
The successful completion of the flight calibration signifies that all of Lishui Airport's calibration subjects are now ready for use, laying a solid foundation for subsequent test flights and operational readiness.
