The Southwest Zhejiang Sci-Tech Innovation Industrial Park, located in the Lishui Economic and Technological Development Zone in Lishui, Zhejiang province, launched with the arrival of its first batch of partners on March 6.

Lishui Economic and Technological Development Zone has focused on tech innovation, with R&D expenditures growing at an annual average of 26.5 percent, comprising 20 percent of the city's total.

As a key node in the G60 Science and Innovation Corridor (Zhejiang section) and a leading project in the Southwest Zhejiang Sci-Tech Innovation Corridor, the park represents a total investment of 2.7 billion yuan ($371.75 million), which aims to lead the nation in industry innovation.

The park has already attracted 40 partner projects, covering areas such as low-altitude economy and computer aided engineering simulations.

Among the first batch of projects in the park, participants included the Zhejiang University-Lishui Joint Innovation Center for Life Science and Health, Hangzhou Zongheng Communication Co, Zhejiang Yuansuan Technology Co, Zhejiang Wole Technology Co, Zhejiang Jiake New Material Technology Co, etc.

Additionally, the park signed agreements with Lishui University, Zhejiang Construction Investment Development Co, Zhejiang Fuzhe Technology Co, etc.
