The Spring Festival holiday has come to an end, and protecting against COVID-19 remains a top priority as people return to work.

To ensure effective COVID-19 epidemic response, as well as to safeguard people's health and safety, the municipal government of Shaoxing has given some tips for companies to resume operations.

Companies are advised to set up special teams for epidemic control and prevention, with specific personnel being in charge of anti-epidemic supplies, collecting and reporting health information, as well as implementing regular prevention measures.

Staff members are advised to have their temperature taken and recorded before entering the work place every day. They should wear disposable medical masks at the work place, wash hands regularly, as well as cover their mouths when sneezing or coughing.

Companies should also strictly control the number of visitors to work places, as well as have their health and contact information registered before entering.

Strict measures should be taken to keep work places clean, disinfected, and well ventilated. Online meetings are preferred rather than offline gatherings, while strict personal protection measures must be taken when an offline meeting must be held.

Companies must also set up quarantine areas, where staff members with suspected symptoms can stay before going to designated medical institutions.
