Recently, over 30 photographers from the Zhangye Folk Photography Association embarked on a photo expedition to the Binggou Danxia Scenic Area, capturing the breathtaking beauty of this geological wonder through their cameras.

As an integral part of the Zhangye Danxia National Geopark, the Binggou Danxia Scenic Area boasts prestigious titles such as "the Seven Most Beautiful Danxia Landforms in China," "the Six Most Bizarre Landforms in China," and "one of the Ten Most Amazing Geographical Wonders in the World." Situated on the north bank of the Liyuan River in Sunan Yugur autonomous county, this scenic haven is characterized by its magnificent palace-shaped red sandstone formations.

Spanning approximately 300 square kilometers with an altitude ranging from 1,500 to 2,550 meters, the core area of the Binggou Danxia Scenic Area showcases the most comprehensive, diverse, and concentrated distribution of Danxia landforms in the country. This captivating landscape is a testament to the power of nature's artistry, offering photographers and nature enthusiasts alike a truly unforgettable experience.
