Gansu's cultural heritage comes alive in Chinese New Year celebration

The festivities showcased a wide array of traditional performances and demonstrations, including the energetic Joyful Waist Drums, the ceremonial lighting of the Millennia-old Nine-Bend Yellow River Lantern Array, dynamic dragon and lion dances, the rhythmic drumming of the Peace Drum, lively Shehuo folk performances, and iconic Qinqiang Opera renditions. 

Additionally, attendees were treated to exhibitions of various intangible cultural heritage products, demonstrating the rich craftsmanship and artistry passed down through generations.
