Guazhou county, traditionally a major goji berry cultivation base in Northwest China, currently boasts 8,400 hectares of goji plantations. The region's goji berries are renowned for their plump appearance, bright color, soft texture, and large size. These distinctive qualities have earned them the "National Agricultural Product Geographical Indication Protection" status from China's former Ministry of Agriculture. The goji industry has become a crucial pillar in promoting rural revitalization and economic prosperity in the area.

"Since the latter half of last year, customs authorities have helped us enhance our internal quality management system through regular inspections," said Hao Yu, head of Hao's Lidao Agricultural Development Co. "They've provided extensive guidance on food safety regulations and RCEP preferential policies, which has been instrumental in our expansion into overseas markets."

Sun Chengyu, director of Dunhuang Airport Customs, stated that they will continue to optimize the business environment and improve regulatory services. "We're committed to bringing policies directly to enterprises and actively addressing their concerns, aiming to help more quality products from Gansu reach global markets," he added.
