A number of promotional and performing activities were staged to strengthen exchanges and cooperation between the Chinese mainland and the SAR in the cultural and tourism sectors.
Apart from building a liaison mechanism with their counterparts from the SAR, the Gansu-based cultural and tourism exhibitors promoted specially designed study tour routes in the province in a move to deepen dialogues and exchanges between youth from the two regions.
With the theme of "Feeling the Beauty of China with the Heart," the expo was hosted by Macao SAR Government Tourism Office, under the support of China's Ministry of Culture and Tourism, from Sept 23 to 25.
The event drew the attendance of culture and tourism departments and public institutions from 18 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities, and the Palace Museum.
The expo, boasting 830 booths and 23,000 square meters of exhibition space, brought together 428 exhibitors from 23 countries and regions both online and offline.
