Shandan industrial park

Established in March 2006 by Gansu provincial government, Shandan industrial park is a provincial development zone with planning area of 32.5 square kilometers, which includes county north industrial zone and Huacaotan circular economy industrial zone.

The county north industrial zone, with planning area of 7.54 square kilometers, has formed the leading industries of construction and building materials and agricultural and sideline products processing, which has attracted 136 enterprises to settle down and has built 105 enterprises involving production and processing, storage, auto repair and other services. In the future, the industrial zone will include five sectors, namely new material area, new building material area, equipment manufacturing area, agricultural products processing area and business warehousing and logistics area. The new material area focuses on new environmental protection wall material, new decorative material and other new materials. The new building material area aims to upgrade traditional crafts of building materials enterprises and improve technological elements and added value of products. The equipment manufacturing area mainly introduces and develops agricultural machinery and equipment manufacturing and coal chemical equipment manufacturing. The agricultural products processing area improves technological elements and added value of products based on the strategical investments from relevant enterprises. The business warehousing and logistics area involves commerce and trade, warehousing and logistics service with its advantages in the location neighboring to the county.

The Huacaotan circular economy industrial zone situates at 38 kilometers away from the Southeast of the county, with planning area of 2.86 square kilometers, integrating with raw coal mining, coal processing, coal power development and comprehensive utilization of coal chemical industry. It has been invested with 2.8 billion yuan for the constructions of raw coal mine with annual output of 900,000 tons, coal preparation plant with annual output of 6 million tons, storage and transportation field, transformer substation and other projects. After the completion of the industrial zone, it can achieve 14.289 billion yuan of annual sales revenue, providing more than 4000 job opportunities and driving the transformation of related industries from traditional primary processing to comprehensive utilization of resources. The industrial zone will become a clean energy, smelting and chemical industry, new building materials processing base led by circular economy.

Zhangye International Logistics Park covers an area of 32 square kilometers, including five groups namely regional characteristic logistics group, international logistics integrated service group, industrial products distribution logistics group, import and export processing logistics group and logistics port and bonded center group for domestic and international logistics business. The park plans to introduce 200 enterprises covering electronic products, digital products, hardware, advanced manufacturing, characteristic agricultural products, cold chain storage, leisure and entertainment and so on.
