Folk activities to mark Longtaitou Festival

Dragon and lion dancing, intangible cultural heritage-themed performances and folk customs shows were staged in Minle county of Zhangye, Gansu province, in celebration of Longtaitou Festival, on Feb 21.

The day of Longtaitou, which literally means "dragon raises its head", falls on the second day of the second lunar month to mark winter's transition to spring.
