Modern techniques boost grain harvest in Gansu's Minle

On Aug 21, 2024, in the wheat fields of Bagua village, Yonggu town, Minle county, Zhangye, Gansu province, several large combine harvesters were busy harvesting wheat.

Currently, the wheat in Minle is reaching maturity and entering the harvest season. Local authorities are seizing the opportunity to organize large-scale harvesters to ensure that the summer grain is fully collected.

City and county agricultural machinery centers have dispatched technical advisors to provide on-site support. Through collaboration between villages and enterprises, they are offering comprehensive technical assistance to the wheat farms. This has significantly improved the efficiency and quality of mechanized operations, leading to increased yields and income for farmers.

At present, the comprehensive mechanization level of crop production in Minle county has reached 86.25 percent, with a total agricultural machinery power of 767,200 kilowatts.
