Snow Leopard spotted in Subei, marking conservation success

A snow leopard, known as the "King of Snow Mountains" and apex predator of highland regions, has been spotted recently in the Mazongshan Siberian Ibex Provincial Nature Reserve in Jiuquan, Gansu province. Reserve staff made this exciting discovery while reviewing infrared camera footage from the protected area.

Located in Subei county of Jiuquan, the Mazongshan Reserve is dedicated to protecting Siberian ibex, Gobi argali, and their natural habitats. This snow leopard sighting standsas a testament to the reserve's healthy ecosystem and successful wildlife conservation efforts.
