Optimizing services benefits Tianhe enterprises

Tianhe district in Guangzhou has been stepping up implementation of its preferential policies for enterprises and optimizing services to improve the business environment since the beginning of 2021.

By Nov 5, 126 preferential policies in 10 departments in Tianhe have been fully implemented. A total of 2,070 related cases have been handled online, allocating 481.13 million yuan ($75.28 million) in policy support funds, among which 457.45 million yuan were used to support high-quality industrial development and 23.68 million yuan went toward the fight against COVID-19.

An integrated service platform was set up for the implementation of preferential policies. Information on preferential policies and notices can be found on the platform. Support funds can also be applied for on the platform.

Tianhe has more market entities than any other area in Guangzhou, and the annual approval volume of district-level government affairs has exceeded one million, meaning a heavy work load consultation service personnel.

The district, together with China Telecom and ZTE, created a digital and intelligent government affairs consulting service platform which uses 5G, artificial intelligence and big data. It is the first of its kind in the country.

The intelligent consulting service platform will send a message to people when they call the Tianhe governmental hotline for consultation. Individuals can make appointments, apply online, check the progress of their application, and evaluate the services through the message, with no need to download an application or follow a WeChat public account.

Since the platform began operating, a total of 269,119 cases of phone consultation have been handled, with a satisfaction rate of 99.09 percent.
