Guangzhou's Tianhe district launched its online government affairs service window on April 29, which aims to reduce the handling time and materials needed for government affairs in the fields of digital economy, scientific and technological innovation, as well as commercial consumption, promoting the high-quality development of the district's economy.

The first batch of 272 government affairs, involving 12 departments, can be handled at the online window, covering identity cards, household registration, starting a business, investment project approval, as well as the registration of legal persons.

A total of 34 officials have been arranged to build a tripartite communication channel among the online service window, offline special windows, and policy makers.

In addition, the online service window has been connected to the all-in-one government self-service machines in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (Guangdong) Innovation and Entrepreneurship Incubation Base, the Party-masses service stations at Grandview Plaza, Huacheng Square, and Yingkai Square, as well as the district migrant workers service demonstration center, offering great convenience to people.
