With the Dragon Boat Festival falling on June 3 this year, the Hao Family in Chebei subdistrict of Guangzhou's Tianhe district brought back their No 7 and 8 dragon boats on May 29.

The No 7 dragon boat was renovated and the No 8 dragon boat was newly built at a shipyard in Panyu district. Ritual ceremonies like adding eyes to the dragon boat were carried out to pray for good weather, prosperity, good harvest, and health.
