Guangzhou's Tianhe district is currently promoting the construction of a four-level park system that is composed of ecological parks, urban parks, community parks, and pocket parks. Through the system, Tianhe is aiming to create an ecological and livable environment, while bringing out new and remarkable features in urban functions.

Assessments have been made on the eight ecological parks, nine urban parks, 23 community parks, and 52 pocket parks in its jurisdiction.

A total of 14 pocket parks were built last year, along with the renovation and upgrading of the public green landscapes in Zhujiang New Town. Construction of five pocket parks has been completed this year, while construction on a second batch of pocket parks is also being advanced.

The Tianhe Intelligence Business District (IBD), which is home to more than 2,500 high-tech enterprises, also boasts a beautiful ecological environment.
