Guangzhou's Tianhe district ranked second among the top 100 Chinese districts this year, only second to Shenzhen's Nanshan district, according to a recent report from CCID Consulting. It is the sixth consecutive year that the district has been included in the ranking.

A first-class business environment leads to strong competitiveness and Tianhe has been comprehensively improving its business environment by launching 146 measures.

Online channels were opened to offer one-on-one governmental affairs services for people and enterprises that are in places outside of Tianhe.

Based on credit data, the district has been making efforts to make it more convenient for enterprises to get financing and loans through the Tianhe model of "credit + finance + innovation."

It launched the nation's first "BOC Tianhe innovation loan" by cooperating with the Guangdong branch of the Bank of China (BOC) in 2020, granting over 1 billion yuan ($148.08 million) in credit loans to R&D enterprises.

The CTF Finance Centre is currently home to 277 law offices, accounting for 33 percent of Guangzhou's total. It contributes to the district's efforts of building a legal service brand cluster in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

As of June 2022, Tianhe is home to 493,000 enterprises, accounting for 26.5 percent of the city's total, as well as 7,394 enterprises above designated size, ranking first in the city.
