A total of 34 enterprises from Guangzhou's Tianhe district made the list of the top 500 enterprises in Guangdong province in 2022, which was released by the Guangdong Provincial Enterprise Confederation and the Guangdong Provincial Association of Entrepreneurs on Oct 12.

In addition, there were four Tianhe enterprises that made the top 100 private enterprises in Guangdong list, two that made the top 100 manufacturing enterprises in Guangdong list, and 14 that made the top 100 service firms in Guangdong list.

By the end of June, Tianhe was home to 493,000 enterprises, accounting for 26.5 percent of Guangzhou's total, of which 7,394 enterprises are above designated size, ranking first in the city.

It is also home to 120 headquarters enterprises, Big Four accounting firms, branches of the world's top five advertising media groups, over 200 projects invested in by over 200 Fortune Global 500 companies, 54 foreign consular offices, 33 regional headquarters of foreign banks, as well as more than 2,000 service firms from Hong Kong and Macao.
