The Guangdong agricultural products shopping festival for the upcoming Spring Festival, which this year falls on Jan 22, is taking place at Tianhe Smart Agricultural Park in Guangzhou's Tianhe district from Jan 13 to 14.

Nearly 50 enterprises will bring a variety of products, including pollution-free food, organic agricultural products, products with geographical indication trademarks, and agricultural products that promise to meet national standards, to the shopping festival. They include fruits like grapes and lemons, as well as essential New Year's goods like Simiao rice and camellia oil.

In addition, a forum will be held to discuss ways to boost the high-quality development of the geographical indication industry, along with the picking activity of agricultural products and online livestreaming activities where New Year's goods will be sold.

Tianhe Smart Agricultural Park has the largest multifunctional greenhouse in Guangdong province. It also boasts a wide range of planting greenhouses and equipment to exhibit vegetable varieties from around the world.

A green technology and variety exhibition is ongoing at the agricultural park, showcasing nearly 5,000 varieties of agricultural products from home and abroad, which are also available for picking.
