The third Guangzhou Thousand Villages Football Tianhe Championship opened at the Guangdong Olympic Sports Center in Guangzhou's Tianhe district on Nov 5 and will last until Dec 16, with over 50 matches set to spark excitement throughout the district.

The event is being hosted by the Tianhe bureau of culture, radio, film, television, tourism and sports and the Tianhe bureau of agriculture and rural affairs.
