Eight enterprises and institutions, including Lifeteam Smart Sports Maker Space, were awarded the titles of leading incubation carriers for innovation in Guangzhou's Tianhe district in 2022.

The results were announced during an investment promotion event of the Guangzhou International Innovation Festival, which took place from Dec 18 to 20, at the Guangzhou CHOW TAI FOOK (CTF) Financial Center in Tianhe.

Tianhe takes the lead in Guangzhou in terms of comprehensive strength in scientific and technological innovation. It is now home to some 536,000 enterprises, with the number of tech enterprises totaling 140,000. It is also home to some 300,000 innovative talents.

Additionally, there are 254 incubations and maker spaces in Tianhe, of which 66 are at or above the provincial level.
