More birds flocking to Tianhe
To date, 460 bird species have been found in Guangzhou's Tianhe district as its natural environment has improved.
Several birds that are under State protection, including silver pheasants and Phoenicurus aureus, live at the South China National Botanical Garden, which is the most extensive subtropical botanical garden in China and has a conservation exhibition area of 283 hectares and preserves over 13,000 species of plants.
