The fourth session of the ninth Tianhe District Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) kicked off on March 18 in Guangzhou's Tianhe district.

In 2023, members of the ninth CPPCC Tianhe District Committee put forward 197 proposals centered on Tianhe's economic and social development and specific problems involving the people's immediate interests. Of these, 118 were registered and investigated, according to the work report by Yue Chaoyang, vice-chairperson of the ninth CPPCC Tianhe District Committee.
