XPeng advances construction of futuristic science park in Guangzhou
Construction on the underground structure of XPeng's science park in Guangzhou's Tianhe district recently, and construction on the above-ground structure has begun.
The science park, with a combined floor area of 364,500 square meters, is set to serve as the intelligent headquarters for XPeng Motors, a leading smart NEV maker based in Guangzhou. It will support XPeng in developing pure electric vehicles and help the company expand in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Multiple green construction techniques, including laying rooftop distributed photovoltaic systems and building green and efficient refrigeration rooms, are being used to reduce the carbon emissions of the science park. This is expected to save about 3.56 million kilowatt-hours of electricity and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 3,413 metric tons per year.
