The third Shenchong Cup Dragon Boat Race took place on June 4 on the Shenchong River – in Tianhe district of Guangzhou, the capital of South China's Guangdong province.

The race featured 10 dragon boat teams from Qianjin, Zhucun, and Huangcun villages competing with each other.

In the event, the Zhongyue team from Zhucun village took the crown, while the Huangcun No 1 Ship team and Zhucun's Nanmen Society team won second and third places, respectively.
