Measures launched to advance Tianhe's service sector

Guangzhou's Tianhe district issued several measures on June 17 to promote the high-quality development of the district's high-end professional service industry and accelerate the cultivation of new quality productive forces.

For enterprises that are recognized as headquarters enterprises at the district or city level, a bonus of up to 20 million yuan ($2.76 million) is set to be granted according to their business income of the previous year.

Enterprises in the high-end professional service sector newly settled in Tianhe, which have their operation revenue exceed 100 million yuan in the first full accounting year and have the growth rate of operation revenue in the first, second, and third accounting years increase by more than 10 percent year-on-year, are poised to get a cumulative subsidy of no more than 20 million yuan.

For enterprises engaged in legal services, accounting, audit and tax services, research and development design, inspection and testing, and intellectual property services, the operational revenue in the first full accounting year must exceed 80 million yuan to be eligible for the aforementioned subsidy.

Besides, Tianhe will give a one-time award of 500,000 yuan to platform-type human resources agencies that obtain value-added telecommunications business licenses, have no less than 1,000 enterprise members, see no less than 500 enterprises recruiting workers through the platforms, and realize no less than 100 million yuan in the transaction amount of platform orders.

Law firms jointly established by Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao funds, if they have been in continuous operation for more than one year and achieve a business income of more than 1 million yuan in the district, are set to be given a one-time bonus of 100,000 yuan.

Moreover, qualified talent in the sector will get support from the district in terms of getting a talent green card, applying for talent apartments, children's education, and medical treatment.
