Tianhe lane selected as intelligent vehicles test road

A BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) lane in Tianhe district of Guangzhou – the capital of South China's Guangdong province – was recently included in the city's seventh batch of test roads for intelligent connected vehicles (ICVs).

That's according to a statement on ICV test roads released by the Guangzhou ICVs Pilot Zone Operations Center.

Starting from Tangxia Village Station to Lianxi Station, the BRT lane spans a one-way length of 5.7 kilometers. The tentative test time is from 9:30 pm to 5 am the next day.

To date, there are 842 test roads for ICVs in Guangzhou, with the total one-way mileage reaching 1,714.09 km and the two-way mileage totaling 3,421.75 km.
