Tianhe center upgrades business services

On Jan 5, the Tianhe Business Support Center was inaugurated at Guangzhou East Railway Station, offering immediate and convenient consultation and business support services to arriving visitors from Hong Kong, Macao, and around the world in Guangzhou.

Guangzhou East Railway Station has been a vital link between Guangzhou and Hong Kong, facilitating the daily transit of around 8,000 passengers between the two cities.

Located at the exit of Guangzhou Railway East Station, the center spans 38 square meters. It's operated by the Tianhe Hong Kong and Macao Residents Service Center and has three full-time staff proficient in Cantonese and English.

Operating from 9 am to 11 pm, the center offers various services, including information consultation, assistance setting up WeChat and Alipay accounts, currency exchange guidance, and emergency support.

Additionally, the Tianhe taxation bureau has installed an intelligent machine at the center, facilitating handling more than 500 government and tax-related matters.

"As soon as we passed through the gate machine, we saw this center," said Huang Wei-chien, chairman of the Hong Kong-based company E Workshop Corporation Limited, who is also one of the first visitors from Hong Kong to the center.

He added, "They offer guided tours and information services and convenient amenities such as charging stations and printing facilities. This is truly impressive!"
