XPeng joins hands with UK group to create charging network
XPeng Charging – the unit of Chinese electric vehicles maker XPeng – signed a memorandum of understanding on Jan 14 with bp pulse, the EV charging wing of BP, formerly British Petroleum, to create one of the country's most advanced and extensive charging networks.
They signed the MOU in Guangzhou – capital of South China's Guangdong province – to form a strategic partnership.
They said the agreement would enable both companies to share their charging networks, providing customers with access to a wide-ranging network of over 30,000 charging piles located in 420 cities across China.
Furthermore, they will delve into further collaboration in various areas including light storage charging, energy replenishment networks, power demand-side responses, marketing promotions and other initiatives.
