Jack Ma visits Huzhou

A delegation headed by Jack Ma, founder of Alibaba Group, paid a visit to Huzhou, East China's Zhejiang province, from May 24 to 25. 

During the two-day trip, the delegation toured places such as Nanxun district, Deqing county, and Anji county. 

Huzhou, a lakeside city in Zhejiang, is renowned for its healthy natural environment and as the birthplace of the "Two Mountains" Theory- Lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets. 

The city is currently working closely with Alibaba to boost the growth of the digital economy. 

On May 21, a smart property platform jointly built by the Nanxun government and Alibaba Auction was unveiled. 

On April 25, the city signed strategic cooperation agreements with Alibaba Group and Ant Financial Group, the financial arm of Alibaba. A new digital life service platform was also launched in the city. 

On April 11, Deqing county and Alibaba (China) Software Co Ltd reached a cooperation agreement on the construction of digital villages, allowing the city to better promote the digitalization of rural governance.
