The opening ceremony commenced with inspiring speeches delivered by An Lijia, vice-chairman of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, and Chen Hao, secretary of the CPC Huzhou Municipal Committee.

An Lijia urged private enterprises to embrace and implement the nation's ecological civilization ideology. He called upon them to actively participate in establishing a new development paradigm and commit to resource-efficient utilization as well as green and low-carbon sustainable development. Recognizing the importance of seizing opportunities presented by the "dual-carbon" strategy, he emphasized the need for increased investment in key research and development areas, widespread adoption of pivotal technologies, and independent product innovation to enhance industrial competitiveness. He earnestly invited attendees to witness for themselves the city's natural splendor, the thriving industrial ecosystem, the fervor of innovation, and the tangible benefits of a business-friendly environment.
