The city has creatively utilized idle urban spaces to establish pocket parks, transforming neglected areas into vibrant green spaces.

From repurposing abandoned vegetable plots in Wuxing district to converting community corners in Nanxun, the city has embraced innovative approaches to increasing the amount of urban greenery.

Furthermore, Huzhou has allowed the public to participate in park design through competitions and soliciting suggestions, ensuring that parks cater to the needs and desires of residents.
