First rural art museum opens in Huzhou's Changxing

The Luojiadi Art Museum recently opened in Luojiadi village, Changxing county, Huzhou, Zhejiang province. It is the county's first rural art museum.
Over 100 calligraphers and painters from prestigious institutions like the Hangzhou Oil Painting Institute and Changxing Artists Association participated in the opening ceremony.
An exhibition opened at the same time, showcasing over 80 oil paintings by 26 artists from Zhejiang province.

Luojiadi village has leveraged its ecological resources to attract various art projects, including art training and exhibitions, as well as cultural and creative products like ceramics and bamboo carvings. Collaborations with renowned art institutions have brought regular art exhibitions and cultural events to the village.
These initiatives have significantly increased the village's visibility, with over 20,000 visits from across the country this year, generating over 1 million yuan ($140,365.70) in revenue and stimulating local catering services.
Zhang Guiqing, the village's Party secretary, aims to utilize the art museum as a platform for art exhibitions and exchanges, fostering artistic development.
