Inner Mongolian CPPCC members arrive in Beijing

The 31 Inner Mongolian members to the first session of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference successfully arrived in capital Beijing on March 2.

The annual session is scheduled to kick off on March 4.

The members from Inner Mongolia will represent the region to make proposals that will boost the economic and social development of the country.

Du Mingyan, a member of the CPPCC National Committee and deputy director of Hulunbuir Culture, Tourism, Radio, Film and Television Bureau, said that she has prepared a proposal on aiding families who have lost their only child, and another on accelerating the construction of a community worker system.

E Xiaomei, a member of the CPPCC National Committee and a professor at the Law School of Inner Mongolia University, revealed that she has prepared three proposals this year, including one advocating for the establishment of the Yellow River National Cultural Park.

Sun Zhihong, a member of the CPPCC National Committee and deputy director of the Key Laboratory for Dairy Biotechnology and Engineering in Inner Mongolia Agricultural University's Department of Education, said that this year he will focus on promoting the development of the whole dairy industry chain and the establishment of probiotic standards and regulations.
