Jade dragon takes center stage at national exhibition
During the Spring Festival, the National Museum of China selected over 200 artifacts from its collection to present at a "Year of the Dragon" cultural exhibition.
The "Jade Dragon of Hongshan Culture" has become the star of the exhibition. Also known as the "First Dragon of China", this Neolithic-Age relic is garnering widespread coverage from major media outlets across the country.
Unearthed in Saiqintala village of Ongniud Banner, Chifeng city, this relic stands as one of the earliest known depictions of a dragon in China. It is crucial in the study of primitive dragon forms.
