An agricultural and livestock product promotion event for North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region was held in capital Beijing on April 25.

The event was jointly organized by the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Regional Department of Agriculture and Animal Husbandry and the Beijing Office of the People's Government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.

Over 400 varieties of high-quality agricultural and livestock products from 12 leagues and cities in Inner Mongolia were showcased at the event.

The organizers prepared unique and flavorful dumplings, delicious and aromatic dairy products, succulent beef, tender and tasty lamb, and more specialty products, which attracted  the attention of attendees.

This initiative allowed residents in Beijing to savor the flavors of Inner Mongolia without leaving the city, further expanding the channels for high-quality agricultural and livestock products from Inner Mongolia to enter the Beijing market.

Representatives from 17 enterprises and institutions signed procurement agreements with Inner Mongolia, with the total on-site signing amount exceeding 80 million yuan ($10.96 million).
