The ginkgo trees in Nantong, Jiangsu province have finally turned yellow!
For some especially breathtaking golden ginkgo leaves, visit Zhaoyuan village, Jiuhua town, Rugao, which is home to a ginkgo tree that is at least 1,300 years old, making it the eighth oldest tree in the province.
Known as the King of Ginkgoes, this male tree stands 28.7 meters tall with a trunk diameter of 7.8 meters, requiring five adults to completely encircle it. The upper part of the main trunk spreads over 10 large branches, resembling umbrella ribs supporting a vast canopy. The tree crown has a diameter of 32.4 meters, covering an area of nearly 1,000 square meters.

In early winter, the ancient ginkgo tree inside Dinghui Temple in Rugao is also stunning, attracting locals and tourists alike. The tree stands over 20 meters tall with a trunk circumference of 4.5 meters and is over 1,000 years old. The tree and the pagoda perfectly complement each other, creating an incredibly beautiful sight.
