Construction on the chiplet manufacturing project of Zhiju Semiconductor began in Tongzhou district, Nantong, Jiangsu province, on Feb 9.

It is Tongzhou's first key project to commence after the Chinese New Year holiday.

The project is located in the Nantong National High-tech Industrial Development Zone, an important industrial hub in Tongzhou. With an investment of 1.05 billion yuan ($143.72 million), the project will provide chiplet solutions and help clients overcome challenges related to the design and cost of large-scale chips.

Zhiju Semiconductor is a pioneer in chiplet and heterogeneous integration technology, offering clients solutions related to system-on-chip and module assembly.
