Jiangsu Gongding Food Technology Co Ltd, based in Sijia town, Nantong's Haimen district, provided a range of ingredients for the 9th Asian Winter Games in Harbin, Northeast China's Heilongjiang province.

The company is a supplier for Metro AG, which was awarded the contract to provide food for the games. The items supplied were frozen green beans and mixed vegetables from Jiangsu Gongding Food Technology.

To ensure food safety and prevent any risks of foodborne illness or contamination, the company has implemented strict quality control measures. According to Geng Di, the company's quality control manager, every product is monitored from the sourcing of raw materials. A traceability system is used to track each batch, ensuring a scientific and comprehensive food safety management process throughout production. "Each batch undergoes thorough testing, and only products that meet safety and quality standards are allowed to leave the factory," Geng said.

Founded in 2018, Jiangsu Gongding Food Technology specializes in food research and development, production, and sales, mainly focusing on frozen vegetables and potato products. The company has established long-term partnerships with prominent firms such as Metro and Hema and has been a reliable supplier for large-scale events.
