Nanyang municipal government requires that the city should complete registration of the cloud platform of public cultural service for not less than one percent of the total population by the end of the year following a meeting held on Nov 14.

The cloud platform of public cultural service was launched in Nanyang in December 2017 with the purpose of improving public welfare so that it benefits all citizens.

Currently, Nanyang has set up a municipal platform and 11 county-level platforms. In total 430 cultural institutions and venues have been established, including public cultural venues, stadiums, cultural attractions, township integrated cultural stations and village-level cultural stations. The platform has carried out a total of 1,993 online cultural activities, formed a total of 14,618 activity orders, and received 40,819 registered users.

The platform will accelerate the integration of public and social cultural resources in the city. It will improve service efficiency by constructing a digital platform for public cultural services, providing cultural information, exhibitions, art appreciation, art training, cultural exchange and more.
