Lin Suqin, a caring Nanyang entrepreneur, was selected for this year's November list of the "Chinese Good People", according to the local civilization office on Dec 2.

Lin was born in Wenzhou, Zhejiang province. She started her business in Nanyang, Henan province in 1993 and is now chairwoman of Henan Yasheng Electrical Co Ltd.

She has organized company staff and volunteers to visit children and elderly people in welfare houses and nursing homes for years, has donated several million yuan to disaster areas and also helped hundreds of impoverished people.

Lin is one of 104 people nationally to make the list.
