A group of basketball players and cheerleaders from the United States visited scenic spots in Nanyang such as Temple Hill, Dinosaur Heritage Park, Longtan Valley, Laojun cave, Laojie hill and Zhongjing Health Town from May 24 to 26.
The members were participants in the 2019 Xishan International Professional Basketball Competition. Xishan, a small county in Nanyang, is famous for its beautiful mountains and waters.
In the dinosaur park, they visited the dinosaur egg fossil museum and dinosaur egg site.
The Laojun Cave is a national 4A-level scenic spot, and contains the Taiqing Valley, Savage Valley and other scenic spots. In the scenic area, there are dense forests, cliffs and waterfalls.
The team members visited the scenic spot where they donated basketballs with their signatures to the teachers and students of Erlangping Hope Primary School and played basketball with them.
The Laojie Hill is a national 5A scenic spot with a total area of 3,090 hectares, an average altitude of more than 1,300 meters, and an average temperature of 10.5 degrees Celsius.
In the scenic spot, members lingered on the beautiful grounds. They received coupons from the scenic spot staff, which will enable them to bring their family back for summer free of charge.
Nanyang has successfully held the 2019 Xishan International Professional Basketball Competition, which provided a new platform for promoting the opening up, exchanges, mutual learning and integration of the city with the world.
